Michael A. Aun, FIC, LUTCF, CSP, CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame is a one-of-a-kind speaker. The author of five books and hundreds of articles, Michael’s syndicated column, Behind The Mike appeared for over a quarter of a century in weekly periodicals across the country.
Michael doesn’t give book reports. He manages a sales force servicing over 100 cities from 20 regional offices with some 35,000 insurance clients. Michael is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, for whom he has also been a main platform speaker as well. His agency has won the prestigious Master Agency Award, the highest honor in life insurance management. His last book, The Toastmasters International Guide To Successful Speaking (Dearborn Financial Publishing) was a top seller. His newest book, Rules From The Leader Ship will be out shortly.
In 1978, Michael won the “World Championship of Public Speaking” for Toastmasters International, defeating speakers representing 175,000 Toastmasters from over 65 countries throughout the world. In 1983, he was awarded the (CSP) Certified Speaking Professional designation by the National Speakers Association. In 1989, he was also elected to their Board of Directors. In 2000, Michael received the prestigious (Council of Peers Award of Excellence) CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame award from the National Speakers Association, considered the Oscar or Emmy of the speaking profession. There are fewer than 150 living CPAE’s. Previous recipients include, President Reagan, Paul Harvey, Colin Powell, Art Linkletter, Earl Nightingale, Zig Ziglar and Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. Michael is the only living speaker in the world who has been awarded the Toastmasters International World Championship of Public Speaking, the CSP and CPAE designations. The late Cavett Robert, founder of the National Speakers Association, was the other.
